Tuwaiq Sculpture is an international live sculpture symposium held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event brings together local and international artists to create large-scale public sculptures, allowing visitors to observe the sculpting process and engage with the artists throughout the programme.
The visual identity was developed around the symposium's 2025 theme of time and impact. An abstract graphic system explores transformation through a single tone, using variations in opacity to represent the gradual passage of time and the accumulation of material.
Circular and square forms form the basis of the visual language, referencing moments of contact between sculptor and stone. Gradients and softened edges draw from the dust created during live sculpting, translating a physical aspect of the process into graphic form. The identity is organised within a structured grid, allowing the system to expand consistently across environmental graphics, printed materials and digital applications.
